We are excited to annouce a new partnership with Choate Rosemary Hall! Together we will be hosting a 6 week adaptive swim program at Choate for grades K – 12. Choate students will serve as peer mentors with Social Sabby participants. There will be YMCA certified lifeguard(s), in addition to staff from both Social Sabby and Choate Rosemary Hall.

The 6 week series begins on Sunday March 30th. We will swim weekly from 11:15a – 12:15p. We request that you arrive at 11am to allow enough time to change. Please note there will not be a session on Sunday April 20th, Easter Sunday.

Thanks to a grant received by The Meriden Foundation for this program, there is a $30 registration fee to attend. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration and payment are due by Sunday March 16th, 2025. Please register using the form at the bottom of this page, and complete our participation waiver.

Getting There:

Larry Hart Pool Off 145 North Elm St., Wallingford, CT 06492
The road does not go all the way through from N. Elm. We recommend turning right or left off of Christian Street, across from Paul Melon Art Center, and park along the drive/road there. Alternatively, try using Worthington Johnson Athletic Center Off 331 Christian St, the pool is NOT in that building, but this address can guide you there. The pool entrance is located just past the white structure serving as the temporary kitchen while the dining room undergoes renovation.
